  As a Support Engineer, you will be part of our front line 24x7 support system. You will be the first in line when server's fail and our customers need quick assistance. You will have 24x7 access to the rest of our team and internal knowledge base.

  You will be on call for 7 days in a row, trading off with other Tag1 team members. During normal office hours you will be working to build out our internal knowledgebase, and to write articles to be shared with the community at large. The goal will be for you to quickly learn the ropes of our challenging business and to be promoted to Performance Engineer where you will learn more, earn more, and become more involved in daily operations.

  Linux system administration experience required. Apache, PHP coding and general Drupal experience helpful. MySQL experience preferred. A willingness and ability to learn quickly is more important than experience.

  As a Performance Engineer, you will be mentoring our Support Engineer team and backing them up as calls come in. You will have 24x7 access to the rest of our team and internal knowledge base.

  You will be on call for 7 days in a row, trading off with other Tag1 team members. During normal office hours you will be helping to optimize servers, manage our monitoring infrastructure, architecting and deploying performant and scalable solutions, and exploring new technologies.

  Solid Linux system administration experience is required, as is a background with performance tuning and monitoring, PHP development skills, and extensive Drupal knowledge. Experience administering MySQL and a solid grasp of optimizing queries also required. As always, a willingness and ability to learn quickly is critical.
